Leadership can refer to the range of skills that help managers create guidance in the direction of a project. Although leadership is intangible, a good leader can have a proven influence in the ability of a team to carry out a task. Some executives are innate leaders, but many may need to take classes and courses that can help develop their leadership or other, “soft skills.”
