Emerging Markets

Emerging markets are areas of the world currently in the process of industrialization. Generally, the explosive development in these regions implies upward trends in both consumption and manufacturing. Brazil, Russia, India, and China (sometimes referred to as the BRIC countries) are considered the world’s largest emerging markets. For executives, especially those in multinational organizations, emerging markets represent profound opportunities for short- and long-term growth. However, these markets can also present challenges, including unique languages and business cultures.
